Visitor Information
Pick up maps, ask questions, and otherwise plan your stay at the Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau, on the east side of the downtown convention center. The office is open daily 9–5. If you’re at the state capitol, make your plans at the Utah Office of Tourism, inside Council Hall across the street. Once a meeting place for politicians in the Utah Territory, Council Hall now offers brochures and books on tourist destinations throughout the city and state, and a knowledgeable staff can answer questions. A small store carries Utah books and gifts.
